Type Library List Tab
This tab provides a list of registered type libraries on your system. Type libraries contain detailed information about one or more related COM objects. Use this information to discover objects, object members and object events. You can also use type library information to learn how to properly construct calls to specific members and specific object event handlers in your WinBatch® scripts.
Registered Type Libraries
The list contains the file names of all registered type libraries on the current system. The left column contains names and the right column the complete type library file name and path. Occasionally, a file name will be followed by a forward slash (/) and a number. This indicates that the file contains more than one type library and each number represents the individual libraries in the file.
You can double click on a type library in the left-hand column to load the type library and switch to the Viewer Tab.
View Selected Type Library
Use this button to load a type library list selection into WIL Type Viewer and switch to the Viewer Tab. It is not uncommon for the system registry to contain entries for files that no longer exist on the system. The WIL Type Browser will display an error message if you select and attempt to load an invalid type library.
